SmarportLab | Innovative Port: The Smartport Lab Challenge 2024 is About to Launch

In the coming days, the Port of Bahía Blanca, together with the municipal government, the academic sector, and major companies from the city, will launch the new call for proposals, seeking innovative projects from across the country.

The Smartport Lab Challenge 2024, the open innovation program of the Port of Bahía Blanca, will soon be launched in collaboration with the municipal government and leading companies and institutions in the city.

In this third edition, the goal is to find innovative solutions from across the country to address the needs of Bahía Blanca’s port and industrial ecosystem.

The thematic areas include:

Technology for the logistics and port sector
Renewable energy
Petrochemical industry
Low-emission hydrogen economy
Carbon dioxide capture, utilization, and storage
Alternative water sources for industrial use
Circular economy

The call for proposals will be open until August 25, 2024, and entrepreneurs, SMEs, and research groups from across the country are encouraged to participate.
