This Tuesday, the Check-point Day of the Smartport Lab Challenge 2024 took place at the Port of Bahía Blanca, where the winning projects presented their progress and next steps to the jury, partners, and invited specialists.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in this open innovation program aimed at supporting Argentine talent in developing solutions to address the needs of the local port-industrial ecosystem.
The participating projects in this edition are:
• CrowdLabel IA, offering data labeling services through a crowdsourcing platform.
• HD Fotovoltaica, developing a multifunctional polycarbonate sheet integrated with solar cells, designed for use as roofing material.
• CERH (Centro de Estudio de Residuos en Hormigón), characterizing waste and identifying applications for its use in cement mixtures.
• Ecolysium, developing a platform for selenium-based bio-inputs.
• EasySpot (special mention), an application designed to facilitate the collection of geolocated information in areas with no connectivity.
Smartport Lab Challenge 2024 is an open innovation program organized by the Port of Bahía Blanca and the municipality, with the support of major companies from the petrochemical and logistics-port sectors, as well as the collaboration of the city's scientific and technological institutions.
